A lady was mercilessly whipped by her neighbors for transferring a 'semi-naked' picture taken while washing, on an informing application in Golbazaar Municipality-13, Siraha.
Makina Khatun was whipped by her neighbors Mohammad Aalam Miya, Mohammad Jahir Miya and Jahir's child Kalim with bamboo sticks for posting her photo on imo application, last Tuesday.
The casualty has maintained wounds everywhere on her body. The episode came light when she achieved a nearby center for treatment yesterday.
As indicated by Dr Dipendra Yadav at the center, the casualty has endured cuts and wounds on her thighs, midsection, and other body parts. Makina said her neighbor Sanjila took the photograph of the casualty and Khairul Khatun and transferred them on the informing application without their insight, nearly 15 days back.
"While I was cleaning up at the hand pump, Khairul came there. In the interim, Sanjila arrived. As she was going to take our photograph, we advised her not to. In any case, I didn't know she had taken our photograph and posted them on imo," the casualty said.
Sahida Khatun, a neighborhood, said after the villagers saw the photograph on the web, Jahir Miya bolted Sanjila requested that his child Kalim whip them.
On a similar night, Aalam and Jahir whipped Makina barbarously. Sahida said when she argued the villagers not to beat Makina, they cautioned her that she would meet a similar destiny in the event that she challenged.
The casualties said the attackers debilitated them not to uncover the occurrence. "I went to the center as nobody helped me for treatment", Makina said.
